Dear Ami

I hope this letter finds you in a moment of peace and joy. I want to take a moment to remind you of how truly wonderful you are. You have the unique ability to enjoy the real seven wonders of the world, seeing and appreciating the magnificent array of surprises that life has to offer.

I. To See

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Matthew 5:8

Your eyes are open to the beauty of lights and shadows, the delicate flutter of butterflies, and the warmth of smiles. You have an extraordinary talent for experiencing all the marvelous things around you.

II. To Hear

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27

You hear the resonance of your heart with the earth, embracing the lovely music of nature, the soothing sound of water, and the kind words from those who love you. Each note and whisper guides you on your journey, reminding you of the connections that surround our souls.

III. To Touch

And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them. Mark 10: 16

With your hands, you create not only useful and whimsical things but also art that brings joy and laughter. You write with passion, care for others, and share gentle caresses that convey your warmth. Your creativity knows no bounds.

IV. To Taste

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34:8

You have a special gift for nurturing not just your body but also your spirit. You fill your life with the tastes of milk, honey, teas, pies, soups, and all those cherished recipes your grandmother used to make. Your love shines through in every dish, and the dialogue you establish with your oven speaks of your heart’s warmth.

V. To Feel

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Colossians 3:12

You feel deeply, embracing the entire rainbow of emotions. Even those experiences that challenge your strength are growth opportunities, and you remain ever adaptable, alive, and changing, much like the stars traveling through the cosmos.

VI. To Laugh

For the despondent, every day brings trouble; for the happy heart, life is a continual feast. Proverbs 15:15

Your laughter is contagious, and the joy you cultivate is expansive, akin to a supernova illuminating the universe.

VII. To Love

4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

You love with all your heart, which is the truest reason for being alive.

Remember, my dear friend, that I love you deeply. I send you blessings, hoping you appreciate and rejoice not only in your seven wonders but also in the countless others that life has in store for you.

Kiss and bliss, forever at your side.
