2013 REALIZADORA EN VIDEO

Realiza el largometraje documental, experimental «Temoaya Road» en el marco de la convocatoria «Life in a Day».

2012 Performer

La autora fue invitada a la Bienal Internacional de Performance en Chile, participó con un video stream. También realizó el documental de performance Venus Genetrix.

2009 CRÍTICA DE ARTE

Propone un método de crítica que hace énfasis en las cualidades estéticas, y combina teoría del arte convencional, psicología del arte, con disciplinas de las escuelas espirituales como la cábala, el tarot y el estudio de lo simbólico. Imparte el diplomado Conciencia Creativa, así como talleres y conferencias. Fue miembro de la Asociación Internacional de Críticos de Arte, Paris, sección México, del 2006 al 2009.

Art Critic. She proposes a method of criticism that emphasizes aesthetic qualities. It combines conventional art theory, art psychology, and disciplines from spiritual schools such as kabbalah, tarot, and the study of the symbolic. Shee teaches the Creative Awareness diploma, as well as workshops and conferences. She was a member of the International Association of Art Critics, Paris, Mexico section, from 2006 to 2009.

2007 DISEÑADORA ACTIVISTA

Realiza diseño de moda y lidera y participa en manifestaciones activistas, marchas y performance, a favor de la diversidad sexual y de la legalización de la marihuana.

Activism designer. She makes fashion design and leads and participates in activist demonstrations, marches, and performance art, in favor of sexual diversity and the legalization of marijuana.

2005 HISTORIADORA DEL ARTE

Publica el libro «Un Tostón de Arte Mexicano, de 1950 al 2000», con el Cenidiap, Centro de Investigación y Difusión de Artes Plásticas, INBA, México.

Art Historian. She publishes the book «Un Tostón de Arte Mexicano, from 1950 to 2000», with Cenidiap, Center for Research and Diffusion of Plastic Arts, INBA, Mexico.

2004 PASIÓN POR MÉXICO

Su exposición de arte en el Palacio Legislativo de San Lazaro es censurada, con gran cobertura mediática. Iris México insiste en años siguientes en manifestarse por la libertad de expresión y por el uso de símbolos nacionales en el arte.

Passion for Mexico. Her art exhibition in the Legislative Palace of San Lazaro is censored, with great media coverage. Iris México insists in subsequent years on demonstrating freedom of expression and for the use of national symbols in art.

2002 MÚSICA Y POETISA

Realiza un álbum de poesía sonora experimental, con inclusión de ritmos electrónicos y mariachi.

2001 BECARIA EN PINTURA

Recibe la beca de pintura Jóvenes Creadores del Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes, FONCA, con el proyecto Passion, y expone el resultado en la Ciudad de México, en Chiapas, Oaxaca y Veracruz.

Painting grant. She receives the Young Creators painting grant from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts, FONCA, with the Passion project. Then exhibits the result in Mexico City, Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Veracruz.

2000 ARTE PÚBLICO

Participa en una residencia de producción artística en Bratislava, Eslovaquia. Realiza arte público, lo que le da visibilidad mediática como Iris Aggelerova.

Public art. She participates in an artistic production residency in Bratislava, Slovakia. She executes public art, which gives her media visibility as Iris Aggelerova.

1999 AZUL, CREADORA MULTIDISCIPLINARIA

Participa en La Última Expedición del Siglo, a la Selva Lacandona. Realiza obra multidisciplinar -pintura, objeto, poesía, y performance- con el proyecto Azul y lo exhibe en Chiapas, Veracruz y Oaxaca.

Multidisciplinary creator. She participates in The Last Expedition of the Century, to the Lacandon Jungle. She carries out multidisciplinary work -painting, object, poetry, and performance- with the Azul project and exhibits it in Chiapas, Veracruz, and Oaxaca.

1998, INVESTIGADORA DEL PATRIMONIO

Recibe la beca para Investigación del Patrimonio Cultural, del Fondo para la Cultura y las Artes de Chiapas, FOESCA. Publica el libro digital «Artes Visuales de Chiapas».

Heritage Researcher. She receives the scholarship for Cultural Heritage Research, from the Chiapas Fund for Culture and the Arts, FOESCA. She publishes the digital book «Visual Arts of Chiapas».

1996 DIRECTORA EN PUERTO

Dirige la Casa de Cultura de Puerto Madero, ahora Puerto Chiapas. Recibe una beca para cursar el diplomado en Gobierno y Administración Municipal por la Fundación Colosio.

Director in Port. She directs the House of Culture of Puerto Madero, now Puerto Chiapas. She receives a scholarship to pursue a diploma in Government and Municipal Administration from the Colosio Foundation.

1995 SEÑORITA FOTOGENIA

Es elegida Señorita Fotogenia, por lo que funge durante un año como una de las princesas del Club Campestre. Organiza un taller de pintura y exposición con los niños del Club, Sol de Niño, y los resultados se exhibieron en el Museo del Soconusco.

Miss Photogenic. She is elected Miss Fotogenia, for which she serves for a year as one of the princesses of the Country Club. She organizes a painting workshop and exhibition with the children from the Club, Sol de Niño, (Children Sun). The results were in an art show at the Soconusco Museum.

1994 FOTÓGRAFA

Expone una serie de imágenes en blanco y negro en la Ciudad de México y en varias ciudades de Chiapas. Algunas imágenes resultan como ilustraciones de revistas culturales, y cárteles institucionales.

Photographer. She exhibits a series of black and white images in Mexico City and various cities in Chiapas. Some images turn out like illustrations of cultural magazines and institutional cartels.

1991 ESTUDIANTE DE LA ESMERALDA

Ingresa a la «La Esmeralda», la Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado de Bellas Artes, en la Ciudad de México.

Student of «La Esmeralda». She entered at «La Esmeralda», the National School of Painting, Sculpture, and Engraving of INBA, in Mexico City.

Nace en la Ciudad de México. A la edad de dos años, sus padres se separan, y su madre se muda al estado de Chiapas, donde radicará durante su infancia.
